Niles joined our family November ‘04 and, sadly, went for his last walk November ‘16.  Even as a puppy, he was pretty mellow so that we decided that he needed a little brother to keep him hopping. So Ned arrived on the scene.

Ned is an “only dog” these days and welcomes extra attention.

A quick overview

Welcome to our home. We’ve lived here  since 1994. Swarthmore is a wonderful little town. Downtown Swarthmore is almost two blocks long … wow!  … and we’re just a five minute walk away. The entrance to the College is on the way to town, just ½ a block away.

We were married in a Bed and Breakfast and visited several of them on our honeymoon. Since then (1980), Cathy’s really wanted to have one of her own and so, at last, she has.

Ours is a smoke-free Victorian home, ca. 1880, with both antique and “practical” furnishings. You should find both your private space on the 2nd floor and the shared area on the 1st floor quite comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. When the weather’s nice, you’ll want to spend a little time on the patio overlooking the large, well-planted side yard.

We are closed due to COVID-19. We do not have any plans to reopen anytime soon.
