Thanks again Divinna S., Killingworth, CTMay, 2010It may have been more than the beauty of this home and your welcoming spirit that caused me to tear up when I walked into that beautiful breakfast room this morning. For all I know, many of my relatives have been in this house over the years. How I wish my father could be here with me to answer all my questions! Thank you for a short but sweet stay—loved meeting you both. Philippa and Kemper A., Kennesaw, GAJuly, 2010Thank you for the lovely room and the lovely food & conversation. Your home is a place of peace! We took the month off and the whole family was in HawaiiAugust, 2010Allan & Tracy S., Hampstead, MDSeptember, 2010We stayed at the Purcell Darrell House during our son's overnight visit at Swarthmore College. What a blessing! It is literally across the street from the college… a beautiful Victorian home with all of the amenities, and wonderful hosts. We were welcomed into the home like we were family or friends. After getting in our room, we received wonderful direction for dinner, and came back to the house where we were provided with warm, fresh baked cookies. High speed internet and WiFi was available so that we could research our activities for the next day. Breakfast was sensational. If our son ends up at Swarthmore, you can count on regular visits from us. Phyllis and Alex R., Burlington, VTOctober, 2010Our third delightful visit to you and your lovely, comfortable home. Thank you for my delicious birthday breakfast! Beverly and Jim W., Ithaca, NYNovember, 2010We have had the most delightful 2 night stay while visiting granddaughter Abigail at the College. This is my second visit and you can be sure we’ll return—it feels an essential part of our Swarthmore experience, which began 50 years ago! Barbara and Jack K., visiting family in townDecember, 2010Thank you so much for making our stay such fun. We truly felt as though we were staying with friends. We wish you both a happy & healthy year ahead. |
